Founders

Sitalin Sánchez

Sitalin Sánchez is an interdisciplinary Maseual artist and research assistant at the Moses Mesoamerican Archives and Research Project at Harvard University. Her artistic and research work explores the intersection between the natural world, the sacred and the arts among indigenous populations of the Americas. She holds a B.A. in Graphic Design and a M.A. in Communication and Social Change from the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla. In 2022, she obtained a specialization in Epistemologies of the South. In 2023, she received the Sacred Writes Fellowship in Race, Justice and Religion. She is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and an alumna of the Smithsonian Institution's Latinx Indigenous Peoples specialization program.

Michelle Segura

Michelle Segura is a professor of architectural studies at Boston Architectural College. She has a background in strategic communications and specializes in directing projects focused on community development and public policy impact, primarily targeting women and Latinx youth. She is an architect graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana and holds a Master's degree in Design with a focus on the public from Harvard University, where she created various art installations and collaborated for two years with collectives of searching mothers through the project Assemblies of Resistance: Women Remembering, Resisting, and Demanding Justice.
