
Images of Mexico. Myths, Rites, and Arts.
From August 1 to November 28, 2025, invited Mexican universities may submit up to 15 posters to participate in the exhibition Images of Mexico: Myths, Rituals, and Arts, which will open in the spring of 2026.
Theme
Images of Mexico. Myths, rituals, and arts will accept posters that address one or more of the following themes

Myths. Stories that describe the origin of the world and give it meaning. They are stories that narrate acts of creation of populations, nations, or the universe.
Rites. Actions that have the function of giving order to the world.
Arts. Creative manifestations that use plastic, sound, or linguistic resources.
Guidelines

Each student may submit a maximum of 1 poster.

The poster must be individual.

The technique of representation is free.
-
The format of the posters will be 90 x 60 cm.

The poster must use the official Images of Mexico logo.
-
The poster must be accompanied by an essay in Spanish, with a maximum of 600 words.
-
In case the student has already participated in past editions, he/she must mention it in his/her essay.

Policy regarding the use of LLM.
In case students use elements generated with IA they should include in their essay:

Prompt and AI tool used.
-
The original AI image, without subsequent edits.
-
A 200-word argumentation justifying the use of AI.
Deliverables
Each student will submit:
-
1 Poster in high resolution for printing (CMYK, PDF).
-
1 Poster for web preview.
-
1 Essay in Spanish of 600 words.

If posters do not comply with the guidelines and deliverables mentioned above, they will be disqualified.
